Green Rooibos leaves/needles come from the same bush, Aspalathus linearis, as red Rooibos. To obtain green rooibos, extra care is needed in the treatment of the leaves, to avoid oxidation - a process similar to that used in the processing of green tea. Rooibos leaves, which give a sweet flavor to the infusion, are full of vitamins, minerals and powerful antioxidants.
