These rare flowers are the only wild chrysanthemums in the world that grow at high altitudes. They are harvested only in the north of the Kunlun Mountains (NW China) at 2800 – 3200 m. They are not only tasty and aromatic, but also very rich in amino acids. Locals use them to reduce blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and insomnia.
