Composed of buds with long golden tips lightly covered with fluff, Yunnan Pure Gold is a highly prized black tea. Because early spring tea buds are rich in antioxidants and low in chlorophyll, they have a beautiful golden color when dried. The buds picked at altitudes of up to 2100 m have a very high content of amino acids and invigorating caffeine.
